What is Can Monkey?

Can Monkey is a home service company that helps residents with their trash by taking out their waste and recycling cans to the curb on collection day and returning them back to their original storage location after pickup.

How does it work?

You sign up online by answering a few simple questions and providing your preferred method of payment. Based on your address, we show up on the day prior to your scheduled trash pick-up day and take out your can. After your trash is picked up we return the same day to return your can to its original storage location.

When does my service start after I sign up?

Your service will start 7 days after you sign up unless an alternate date is specifically requested. This allows us time to confirm your order and include your home address in our Can Monkey route.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $49.00 per month (plus applicable taxes). For this flat monthly fee we take out and return 1 waste can and 1 recycling can per week every week for an entire month.  There are no other costs or fees. You are charged on a recurring monthly basis until you decide to pause or cancel your service.

How to I pause or cancel my service?

You are never locked in. You can pause or cancel anytime with just a few clicks. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.

What are the supported communities?

Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills

What if my community is not listed on your supported community list?

Our goal is to provide the most convenient and reliable service as possible. As such, we have chosen to focus our service to a specific geographical area at first. But don’t fret, we plan to grow and expand our service area quickly. To help determine where to expand our service, please register your interest here

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and paypal. You are billed and charged on a recurring monthly basis.

Can I trust Can Monkey to access the side of my house?

Yes, absolutely. You trust your landscaper. You trust your pool guy. All our helpers pass thorough back round checks. We make sure gates remain closed and secured after each visit. 

Is the service reliable?

We show up every week – rain or shine. We track every address in real-time to insure your can is taken out and put back on your scheduled trash day.

What if I have pets in my yard?

We ask that you keep your pets indoors during our service visit. If you forget, no worries. Our helpers will take care not to let any pets out while taking out or retuning your cans.

I see “Stripe” on my bank statement – what is that?

Stripe is one of our payment partners. In some cases, you might see ‘Stripe’ (or a variation of Stripe) on your credit card statement within the first 24 hours of placing your order. Within a day, Can Monkey should appear on your statement in its place.
